The Picture Of PEAS: A Mural Project

All,

I wanted to inform you of another project that might be of interest. We are hosting a mural project at the garden. We’re calling it The Picture of Peas. We are trying to let this be as much a community art project as possible. Which means “the community” needs to drive this bus. That’s where you come in. No experience necessary.

You are invited to join us--ENCM, Alphachimp, and your neighbors--in any of the four open events we’ll be hosting. The first two (September 10th and 24th) will be “discovery sessions”. This will allow participants to express their ideas for what the mural will be and help us define the steps to make this happen. Then, on October 1st and 8th we start painting. We’ll paint the image we’ve collectively designed and have a big party (think pizzas from the oven, puppet shows, face painting, etc. It's really up to you).
