Cob Building Workshop: Part Two

What: Cob Building Workshop, Pt. Two
When: July 9, 10am
Where: McCoy Garden (807 Main St.)
Cost: Free (but we'll pass the hat for our presenter)
Lunch: We encourage you to bring a light snack/lunch

Last Saturday we weathered through the interspersed rain to participate in the first of two workshops led by Howard Switzer and Beau Bristow as part of our "Backyard Foodways" series. And it was so worth it! If you couldn't make it out on Saturday, don't worry-- we're doing it again on July 9th. We'll be laying another layer of cob as we continue the construction of our wood-burning oven. Howard Switzer, of EcoVille Architechs, and Beau Bristow, of the Old World Oven Co., will be returning as our guest practitioners. Pictures from last weekend will be up shortly. Come and join us as we learn how to use this unique method of backyard building. Please RSVP in the comment section below.

Hope to see you there.
